Midfielder Adrien Rabiot has not found a club after contract with Juventus expired with Inter Milan and AC Milan slam door shut in his face.

This is highlighted in today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, via FCInterNews.

They highlight the Frenchman’s struggle to find a new team after departing Juventus.

This summer, Rabiot left Juventus after five years in Turin.

The Frenchman had joined the Bianconeri on a free transfer from Paris Saint-Germain in 2019. And that is the route via which he has left the club as well.

Last summer there was already a hint that Rabiot could leave Juventus.

The Frenchman was on an expiring contract. But he agreed an extension with the Bianconeri, remaining at the club.

However, that was only a one-year extension. Therefore it just kicked the can down the line to this summer.

Rabiot’s deal with Juventus ran out at the end of June. And despite talks to try and agree a new contract, no agreement emerged.

Adrien Rabiot Still Without A Club – Inter & AC Milan Turned Him Down

Rabiot’s summer has partly been occupied by the Euros with France, where he helped Les Bleus reach the semifinal.

But the 29-year-old has also been trying to sort out his future at club level.

According to the Gazzetta, Rabiot was offered to both Inter and Milan.

In the Nerazzurri’s case, there is always the sense that they will consider any big free transfer opportunity.

But Inter declined the chance to sign Rabiot in the end. The Nerazzurri midfield is well-stocked.

Therefore, Inter Milan have no interest in the France international.

Thus far, the same is true of Inter’s city rivals Milan as well.

At the moment, the Gazzetta report, Rabiot’s search for a new club is centred around the Premier League.

The Frenchman is considering all of Manchester United, Liverpool, Arsenal, and Chelsea as potential next destinations.

Meanwhile, Turkish giants Galatasaray are also keen on Rabiot.

Then, there would be the possibility of a move to Atletico Madrid for the 29-year-old. They had previously turned him down, but their stalling deal for Conor Gallagher could reopen the door.
