A highlight of the event came on Wednesday, 28 May, when BSP’s Group Chief Operations Officer, Nuni Kulu, addressed delegates at the Digital Currency Workshop. In her keynote speech, Kulu detailed BSP’s strategic focus on integrating digital banking solutions while maintaining effective and inclusive cash operations across the South Pacific.
“We are committed to ensuring that as we advance technologically, no one is excluded,” said Kulu. “Our goal is to harmonise digital progress with secure and efficient cash systems.”
Kulu also shed light on BSP’s expanding mobile and electronic banking services, alongside its targeted cash optimisation efforts designed to enhance service delivery and operational reliability throughout the region.
