After the most successful season of his career in the Pro category of the Nascar Euro Series Championship, where he finished in 8th place in the among 34 drivers, Vladimiros Tziortzis announced his presence for another year at a press conference held at Gloria Jean’s in Engomi, Nicosia.
2026 will find Tziortzis for the fourth consecutive year in the highest category -Pro.
“In 2026 I will return in the top division,” emphasised the Cypriot driver.
Tziortzis appeared pleased with his eighth place last season. “It was the best in the top category, as I scored the most points of 416. In general it was a good year, in terms of the reliability of the car but also from my point of view,” he said and added: “In seven of the 12 races I finished in the top ten. Our main goal at the beginning of the year was a top-three finish which we didn’t achieve, but it is a goal that remains for the future.”
As Tziortzis pointed out, the only thing that troubled him and the team was the car’s performance: ’’Based on the championship changes at the beginning of the year, we tried a lot to find the setups, but we didn’t manage to maximise them’’.
For 2026, France returns to the schedule. The calendar also includes races in Spain, UK, Czech Republic, Italy and Belgium.
During the press conference, Tziortzis thanked and presented souvenirs to his 2025 platinum sponsor which was HTFX, but also to his supporters: ALCO Filters, Psaltis Auto Parts, Televantos Used Trucks, Panayiotides Gifts, Sana Hiltonia and Daytona Raceway.
He also thanked his family, who, as he emphasised, “have been my rock from day one until today and are always by my side’’.
