A milestone has been reached in for Claremorris, as the town looks to build a new sporting facility that will service not just the town, but the region and international events as well.
The Claremorris Community Sports and Recreational Centre Committee
( CCSRCC) has submitted planning permission for a state-of-the-art sports facility, which also aims to provide a space for youth groups, and indoor sports.
The committee also hopes the facility will host the wider region, and benefit from having an airport so close in Knock.
