Multi-million-euro homes are taking longer to sell, with many going for below the asking price, estate agents have said. An analysis by the Sunday Independent shows a tranche of properties in some of the most exclusive areas of Dublin are taking as long as 18 months to sell and some are going for as much as €600,000 less than the asking price.
It’s a far cry from the frantic bidding wars seen by first-time buyers, with many properties in Dublin selling for as much as €200,000 above the asking price.
