The deadline has passed, so Italy has a list of 13 cities and 16 stadiums to consider for hosting duties in EURO 2032 alongside Turkiye.

July 31 was the last date possible for the potential host cities to provide documentation in order to make them eligible as venues for the tournament.

Now the FIGC has announced the list of 13 cities is Bari, Bologna, Cagliari, Florence, Genoa, Lecce, Milan, Naples, Palermo, Rome, Salerno, Turin and Verona.

The process now is to evaluate the dossiers and prepare the final list of host cities to UEFA by the next deadline of October 1.

These stadiums need to fit the various strict UEFA standards in order to host the EURO 2032 tournament, and there are fears very few arenas are currently able to fulfil those criteria.

Somewhat surprisingly, Bergamo and Udine are not in the list, despite having new stadiums for Atalanta and Udinese.

Italy will co-host the EURO 2032 competition with Turkiye, so each country will have five host cities.
