Littler’s ‘break’
Luke Littler shocked fans last night with a bombshell announcement that he was taking a step back from darts.
In a surprise video posted on social media, The Nuke listed his achievements and then added: “I just want to say thank you to all my fans because the last two years have been phenomenal.
“It’ll shock some people. It’s not been an easy decision. Now I want to focus and do something I really love.”
But as the video came to an end, distant chatter could be heard, which sounded like: “Do you think they’ll fall for that.”
Fans have begun to theorise what it could all be about.
Littler is expected to play tomorrow against the winner of Joe Cullen vs Lukas Wenig.

Welcome to SunSport’s LIVE coverage of the Hungarian Darts Trophy!
The latest European Tour action takes us to the MVM Dome in Budapest with a star-studded 48-man line-up.
Michael van Gerwen ended his two-year PDC Premier event trophy drought last weekend by picking up the World Series of Darts Finals title.
The Dutchman has struggled of late but looked back to his best in Amsterdam as he knocked out Josh Rock, Luke Humphries and Luke Littler en route to his crown.
That success in front of his own fans will have boosted Van Gerwen’s confidence, but he wouldn’t have needed it as he is the defending champion here in Budapest.
Stick with us over the weekend and you won’t miss a 180.
