Euro to US Dollar Exchange Rate Today

The Euro to US Dollar exchange rate is influenced by European Central Bank and Federal Reserve policy, together with changes in the interest-rate gap between the two currencies. Eurozone interest-rate expectations, Eurozone inflation and growth and PMI data can affect the Euro, while US interest-rate expectations, US inflation and labour-market data can move the US Dollar.

EUR/USD has fallen 0.65% today to 1.1464. The pair has declined 1.4% over the past week and has edged 0.92% lower over the past month.

ECB Lagarde speech kept the Euro interest-rate outlook in focus and fOMC Economic Projections kept the US Dollar interest-rate outlook in focus.

Next up are Eurozone inflation on Thursday at 10:00 UK time and Eurozone producer prices Index YoY on Friday at 07:00 UK time, which could set the direction for EUR/USD.
