EURO 2024 finalist and 2024 Champions League semifinalist yet no trophy…Bayern Munich’s CEO knows what Harry Kane is gunning for this season

Speaking to Sport Bild, as captured by @iMiaSanMia, Bayern Munich CEO Jan-Christian Dreesen praised Harry Kane for his unbelievable accomplishments in his first year at Bayern. “He scored 44 goals for us in 45 competitive games and assisted another 12, which underlines his importance to the team. Harry also secured the top scorer award with 36 goals, which no player before him had ever achieved in his first Bundesliga season.”

These accomplishments did not come from nowhere. The former Tottenham Hotspur player’s incredible work ethic, leadership skills and surprising humbleness for a world star were key to his integration and incredible performances.

“During our first conversations with him last summer, we noticed what a straightforward and consistent guy he is. A great sporting personality. Harry immediately took on responsibility here and was immediately the leader we had hoped for. The young players look up to him and learn from him,” Dreesen said. “Harry is an absolute professional, loyal, humble and down-to-earth. He always gives his all, whether on the pitch or in the team. No autograph request is too much for him; he takes time for every kid at Säbener Straße. This respect and cooperation – these are values that I really appreciate in him.”

But, simultaneously, Kane somehow still missed out on winning a trophy as Bayern underwent a first trophyless season since 2011/12. For all of his accomplishments in his lengthy career so far, there is only one thing that will truly satisfy him: “Vice-European champion, Champions League semi-finalist, top scorer – many can only dream of such a season, but of course we also know Harry and know that his goal is to finally crown his career with a trophy.”

That is what the goal will be next season as Bayern aims to make it to the Finale Dahoam in the Champions League next season and, this time, win it.
