The Chairboys have announced that the site is one of 36 venues included in UEFA’s Euro 2028 Team Facilities Catalogue, putting the facility in contention to host one of the competing countries during the month-long tournament.
The catalogue has been created to help national associations identify suitable bases ahead of the competition, which will be held across England, Scotland, Wales, the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland between June 9 and July 9, 2028.
Should a nation choose Marlow Road as its base, the site could welcome players, coaches and support staff from one of Europe’s leading international sides for the duration of their stay.
The inclusion follows a rigorous inspection programme carried out by UEFA and UK & Ireland 2028 Limited after the host nations were confirmed in autumn 2023, with hotels and training venues across the five countries assessed before the final catalogue was compiled.
Marlow Road’s selection comes after significant investment by Wanderers.
Following a temporary move to Harlington in west London in 2024, the club returned to Buckinghamshire a year later after the training ground underwent a major redevelopment.
Two new pitches were installed using the same SiS grass technology as the Adams Park surface, alongside advanced drainage and irrigation systems.
The complex was also expanded to 1,550 square metres and now includes upgraded changing facilities, team meeting rooms, a restaurant overlooking the pitches, strength and conditioning facilities, a pilates studio, multi-faith room, press conference lounge and specialist performance and analysis areas.
UEFA’s catalogue is designed to pair high-quality hotels with elite training facilities, helping participating nations plan their tournament preparations and logistics ahead of Euro 2028.
