Mexico announced a Euro tour in the Czech Republic for their U17 team as they prepare for the 2025 U17 World Cup. Mexico will travel to the Euro country where they will face off against Slovakia, Turkey and the Czech Republic. Coach Carlos Cariño will test the team before the 2025 U17 World Cup to be played in November in which the team is set in a very tough group along with South Korea, Ivory Coast and Switzerland.
The call up list was the following:

-
Goalkeepers: Abdon Turrubiantes (Leon), Santiago Lopez (Toluca)
-
Defenders: Jhonnatan Grajales (Chivas), Felix Contreras (Real Salt Lake), Michel Corona (Leon), Adrian Villa (Pachuca), Bryan Salazar (Tigres), Emiliano Rodriguez (Chivas), Ian Olvera (Tijuana)
-
Midfielders: Iñigo Borgio (Leganes), Daniel Nuñez (Portland Timbers), Gael Garcia (Chivas), Oscar Pineda (Chicago Fire), Jorge Sanchez (Monterrey), Karin Hernandez (Leon), Kenneth Esquivel (FC Juarez)
-

Among the notable surprise is the call up of Leganes based Borgio, who will be making his debut with the team. The rest of the call ups are less surprising although there are key omissions, like injured Maximo Reyes, the best offensive player of the team.
Mexico will start their tour by playing against Slovakia on Wednesday, September 4th. Mexico will then face off against Turkey on Friday before closing out their tour by playing host Czech Republic on September 7th.
