FOOTBALL celebrations, raunchy scenes, and shock reality twists are among the 12 clips nominated for the Edinburgh TV Awards Moment of the Year.
The awards are part of the Edinburgh TV Festival which commences next week and is set to host a range of A-listers and industry moguls such as Tina Fey and Graham Norton.
Anyone can vote for their favourite moment, with the winner announced at a ceremony on Thursday.
Danny Dyer’s emotional meditation on ITV’s The Assembly and the moment the Lionnesses took it home for England at the Euro 2025 final are among the nominated clips.
The three-day Edinburgh TV Festival is set to kick off on 19 August, and aims to connect and support those in the industry through workshops, talks, and round tables.
This is the 50th year that the event is being held, with invited speakers including producer of Mean Girls Tina Fey, Black Mirror creator Charlie Brooker, and This Morning host Rylan.
Part of the festival includes an awards ceremony hosted by double Emmy-nominated Ted Lasso actor and comedian Nick Mohammed.
There are a range of categories including Best Entertainment Presenter, Best TV Actor Drama, and Best Documentary.
The public have been given the chance to have their say for one category only: TV Moment of the Year 2025.
Shortlisted clips include the moment that rapper Big Zuu scored during Soccer Aid for UNICEF 2025, whilst playing against celebs like Sir Mo Farah, Bear Grylls, and One Direction’s Louis Tomlinson.
Also on the list are a shock reveal on BBC’s The Traitors, John solving his first murder on Ludwig, and some particularly risqué scenes from Bridgerton and Rivals.
Votes can be cast until 20 August, with twelve television moments to choose from, from a variety of services such as Apple TV, Channel 4, Netflix, and Disney+
